As I said, September is the month of Sapphires, and dahlings, better salivate on that one!

I was on the prowl for jewelry finds as usual when I happened to stumble upon that one. I was instantly enamored with its deep blue hue and diamond accent.. And note the design, oh the design.

Honestly I’m not much of a Sapphire girl as much as I am a Blue Topaz girl. I happen to find Navy Blue a bit too dull to my taste, but oh-my-word, that piece up there was just too beauteous to pass up!

Have I told you how much I love Sapphire? I mean, I totally adored Blue Topaz already, but the deep, intense blue of Sapphire.. It takes my breath away. I like blue because it is such a tranquil color. It perfectly captures the essence of September: cool nights, blue skies, and evenings with stars like gems.

If your birthday is in September, you’ll absolutely adore the beautiful Sapphire pieces in my favorite jewelry box. But other than that, there are rings, earrings, diamond flower pendants, and, omg, white gold anklets! Just to-die-for!

But back to Sapphires. According to my jewelry hangout, it actually symbolizes “harmony, friendship, loyalty, and sympathy”. Isn’t that what we girls are all about? We love harmony, we would fight for each other in the name of friendship and loyalty, and our best asset is sympathy.. It’s who we are as women, right? Our beauty, in its true essence, is from the inside. It’s what captivates men. Much like a Sapphire: the more you look at it, the more drawn you are to the shimmer inside the stone.
