Peridot Green Goodness
Sunday, October 14th, 2007
I have always been a fan of pinks, reds, blues, mauve, and purple shades. It was only of late that I was drawn to shades of green and orange. And despite my newfound liking for green and orange, there are only certain shades that I would gravitate to. Like this peridot bracelet, for example.
Peridot green is a shade that I associate with freshness and life. Along with olive green and pine green, Peridot green is one of the few green shades that I really like looking at. In fact, I like it so much that I would be able to buy blouses in that color. I also use it in my other blogging accounts.
Green has always been associated with freshness and life. My mother loves green, and so do quite a number of other women in my life. I never understood that before, until peridot, olive, and pine green came into my life.
I particularly like the kind of green in peridots because something about it is so enchanting. It’s not too dark and brooding like emerald, or even too pale like mint green. Though I do recall that I happen to like the combination of mint green and melon.
I could already imagine myself in a white sundress with lime green prints, white sandals, and a peridot bracelet adorning my wrists. Also, imagine this dainty peridot pendant on a slim, delicate chain on my neckline, on top of a hill, sun in my face and the wind blowing my dress, my hair and the delicious grass about me… Oh peridot green bliss indeed!
