Drew´s Diamond Hoop Earrings

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Have you seen the fabulous diamond hoops that Drew Barrymore has been sporting lately? The moment I saw them, I wanted a set of my own, but with $45,000 price tag . . . they´re a little out of my reach! So, I found some diamond hoop earrings that are very similar in style, but a fraction of the price.

Diamond Hoop Earrings 1.0 Carat Gold

I love these, they are very Drew in style, don´t you think? It just goes to show that diamonds don´t have to be all business, these diamond hoops are fun and glamorous all at the same time.

And guess what? Not only are these not horrendously expensive, they´re actually on sale right now! How perfect is that? I can grab a pair for just $599, a whole 59% off. Who could resist such a fine offer? Well, not me, that´s for certain! Now, if I could just get my hair to do that Barrymore wave, I´d be all set!

Champagne and White Diamond 1.0 Carat (ctw) Criss Cross Earrings in 14K White Gold

I used to think that diamond earrings were rather boring. Maybe because I had yet to come across this pretty thing. This pair of diamond earrings, called the Champagne and White Diamond Criss Cross Earrings in 14K White Gold, are actually one of the most charming diamond earring pieces I’ve seen so far.

While diamond earrings tend to be rather simpler compared to, say, chandelier earrings, there are merits to having diamond earrings. They are classic pieces, and they can go with nearly any and every ensemble you could ever think to wear. The diamonds in diamond earrings, being made of neutral colors, will go with anything, any color you can ever think of. And that, I believe is where the charm of the diamond earrings pair would lie.

And yet, this particular earrings pair is so unlike the “classic/simple” mold of the Diamond Earrings pair. This actually has a sassy, unique edge to it, and unlike the usual Diamond solitaires, this certainly is far from boring.

I sincerely need to scratch my head (yes, it’s far from attractive or sassy, I know. :p ) sometimes, when I wonder why a lot of women would die for a pair of diamond solitaire earrings that simply has a particularly huge rock. I know, it’s expensive, but after counting the thousands of dollars spent on it, what then? Does it make the boring diamond solitaire any less boring?

But this, this is sheer diamond earring bliss!

I love the design, I love the play on the neutral colors, and I’m already dying to build an ensemble on it.

And yet, because it’s so pretty, I cannot think of an ensemble worthy of these!

Wanna help me think about that? Comment, please!

I Never Knew Diamond Earrings Could Be So Beautiful

Diamond Drop Solitaire Earrings 1/4 Carat (ctw) in 14K White and Yellow GoldI used to think that diamond jewelry, especially diamond earrings, were too plain. I thought they were ugly, even. But there was a time in high school that I wore a diamond solitaire earring set in silver, because I realized that wearing earrings enhanced my beauty more than anything else.

But when it comes to innovative design and sheer beauty, it was only MyJewelryBox.com that convinced me that diamond earrings may be pretty, after all.

Take this piece, for example. The yellow gold drop set on a beautiful 14-carat white gold inverse end of a cusp, with a single, diminutive diamond solitaire at its womb.. See the poetry with how I describe it? That is how this pair of beautiful diamond earrings gets me.

I have always been a fan of smooth curves, and I actually used to draw shapes like the one this diamond earrings pair is made of. I guess that’s the reason why I was attracted to these pretty diamond earrings in the first place.

I just got mesmerized with this pair of diamond earrings. There is something captivating with how it has been made. From the curves, to the blending of yellow and white gold, to the single diamond set deep within its “womb”.. Everything is so poetic.

And the poetry of these diamond earrings would definitely be enhanced with a great black blouse or a beautiful black dress that has a really sexy cut.

I think these diamond earrings would just enhance the mystery of a woman who wears it. Complete it with a smoking, smoldering look in your eye… Mata Hari, anyone?

Haha, I better wrap this up before I go overboard over a pair of diamond earrings. ;)
