Peridot, my girls, is one of the most beautiful green stones around. It is not as brooding as emerald. Rather, it is of this delicious shade that I actually run out of words to describe it. Is it of an olive-ish shade, only lighter? Ochre-tinged? Yellow-green-ish? I really don’t know how to describe it, actually. All I know is that I never knew that green could be so beautiful.

I’m not a fan of the color green, but green the shade of peridot is absolutely captivating.
