If you grew up dreaming of hearing “Here comes the Bride” while you walked down the aisle wearing a long white dress, then I am betting you have a pretty good idea of what kind of ring that you want. Each engagement ring is different and you should find one that suits your personality.

If you and your sweetie are getting close to that state of wedded bliss and your feminine intuition is just tingling with the knowledge that he is about to pop the question, then you need to help the poor guy out.

Here are some quick tips to make sure you get the ring of your dreams:

1) Start wearing similar jewelry.

Ex. If you love white gold wear a white gold ring or necklace and comment on how it is your absolute favorite.

2) If you prefer a multi stone ring instead of a traditional one, you can comment on how your friends ring is nice but isn’t one stone just a little bit boring. I mean of course you must have a diamond in an engagement ring but if it were you would want a ring that stood out a bit more.

3) If you have a friend who knows your taste in jewelry, subtly hint to your guy that you have always admired her taste in jewelry and how if you had all the money in the world you would hire her as your personal jewelry consultant. Other than that your guy is on his own but hopefully he is the type that can take a hint.
