I have this friend who just loves to pierce things. I swear, she has about twenty holes in her ears and her nose and lip. At first, I thought it was just crazy. But then I realized, she has that many more places to put fabulous jewelry!

It´s getting down to the end of the month and you know how money gets right before the paycheck. Regardless, I´ve been engaging in my favorite pastimes, looking at jewelry, of course! Thank goodness My Jewelry Box has a liquidation center where you can get even more of a discount on their jewelry. And the items there are really nice, not just second-rate castoffs.

For example, here´s a really cute diamond ring. Not something you´d expect to find in a liquidation sale! But there is a catch, there are limited amounts of these items left. For example, this morning, when I was looking at this flower diamond ring, there were only 2 left, so you really need to make quick decisions . . . something I´m not very good at!

Halloween is just four days away and I’m going all out this year! My best friend, Amy, is throwing this HUGE party, quite the event of the season, if you will. This gorgeous Halloween pendant was the inspiration for my vampire costume.

First, I was thinking of using this flowing black dress that I have . . . . but then I decided to make it fun. After all, someday I’ll be too old to pull off the hip Goth look, right? So, I’m going with black leather and a really tight, long sleeved shirt . . . black of course! And teeth, I found the perfect set that you can actually mold to fit your own teeth, so they look nice and realistic.

Okay, I’m getting a bit carried away, here! How ridiculous is it for a grown woman to get so excited over Halloween? Must be the effect of that evil Halloween pendant!

I just looked at my calendar and realized the month is almost over! October is Breast Cancer month, and I know I talked about this before, but this is pretty much the last chance we’ll get to sport some pretty pink jewelry for a cause . . . well, until next year, anyway!
